Northgate Realty is a locally owned, locally managed, full service, residential real estate company based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. OUR ORIGINS
Northgate Realty gets its name from the area in which we began our business. We originally specialized in the neighborhoods along Sixteenth Street, where Montgomery County Maryland meets Washington D.C. This area is traditionally known as the Northern Gateway, or North Gate, into the District. Some of these neighborhoods include Colonial Village, Shepherd Park & Brightwood in Washington D.C., and Rock Creek Forest, downtown Silver Spring and the Woodside neighborhoods of Maryland.
Today, we assist buyers and sellers throughout Washington D.C., suburban Maryland & northern Virginia with the sale or purchase of their homes. However, we continue to maintain our substantial market expertise and presence in the "North Gate" area, where it all began.
